Nave Redonda do Cerro is a luxury cottage, situated in the heart of the countryside, on the border between Alentejo and Algarve, near the Santa Clara Dam. It consists of 6 bedrooms and 4 apartments. You can select among double rooms, twin rooms and triple rooms. All rooms are equipped with TV, central heating and air conditioning. WI-FI provided. The apartments have one bedroom with king size bed or twin beds. All apartments have air conditioning and WI-FI. Breakfast is served in the cottage every morning whilst delicious lunches and dinners are served in the family restaurant just beneath the cottage.

Why did we choose Nave Redonda as our retreat centre?

For many reasons …  Firstly, Nave Redonda do Cerro cottage is situated in a remote village, far away from the noise and crowds of tourists … Imagine waking up to a complete silence, hearing only roosters singing early in the morning …

It is proven that being in nature, or even viewing scenes of nature, reduces anger, fear, and stress and increases pleasant feelings. Exposure to nature not only makes you feel better emotionally, it contributes to your physical wellbeing, reducing blood pressure, heart rate, muscle tension, and the production of stress hormones.

Secondly, the family who runs the cottage are really lovely. They make such a massive effort to give our participants the best hosting experience. Serving Mojito around the swimming pool, driving an hour away from the cottage in order to buy special gluten free bread when they find out someone is gluten intolerant, are just a few of the things that they are willing to do to show how much they care. 

In addition, we must mention that every participant so far loved their cuisine. The family owns a restaurant beneath the cottage where they serve us fresh organic vegetables and fruits as well as organic meat & fish. If you haven’t tried their “Doce da casa” and their fresh orange juice, you are missing some of the sweetest gastronomical experiences …
